Superior Industries, Van Nuys, Calif., is expanding with another plant in Chihuahua, Mexico, to produce aluminum wheels for the automotive market. LPM, Italy, will install 42 low pressure casting machines and furnaces, as well as a tool shop for dies.
Project lead Jorge Caballero will assume responsibility as general manager once the facility is operational, according to the company. It is anticipated that the facility will be operational in early 2015.
