China Steel Corporation (CSC), one of the steel manufacturers in Taiwan, will announce its new domestic and export market prices for hot-rolled, cold-rolled and galvanized steel officially for February and March.
Currently, Chinese and Vietnamese steel mills unchanged their prices for February and rose the price for March. It was expected that the demand will improve after Chinese New Year holidays. Therefore, CSC might keep or rise prices for February and March.
According to understanding, the current demand was not as good as expectation. Some believed that the situation was not optimistic due to the slow growth of public construction. As a result, it still needed some time to observe the market in coming months.
