United States mainstream domestic hot-rolled coil spot market prices remained stable for two weeks, but many buyers and sellers predict prices go up in previous, has failed to see.
Last week, the average spot market prices remained the same as two weeks ago, at US$430-463/ton or US$390-420/short ton, ex-factory prices in the Midwest.
Market participants said this is due to cheaper oil prices, because steel pipe plant did not buy resources from hot-rolled producers. US’s hot-rolled coil prices will still face some challenges.
