It is reported that China Steel Corp. (CSC) already hiked the price in a row in the past three quarters.
According to understanding, CSC''s 1022A wire rod deal price is about NT$25,500/ton in May. Dragon Steel''s wire rod price was about NT$23,200/ton which was a little lower than last month''s NT$24,500/ton .
Some said CSC might drop the price due to the US'' Section 232. However, CSC thought the demand was good in the first quarter. In addition, China''s price was rebounding. Therefore, it was expected that CSC might be very likely to keep the price flat for second quarter.
