The rebar processing industry in Taiwan was in an upward trend recently; however, the processing volume was much lower than the order volume, which failed to catch up with work and further caused civil disputes.
The main reason for the situation was oversupply and the lack of experienced workforce, and some industries even ignored the processing efficiency but lowered prices to grab orders.
Therefore, it was expected that the rebar processing costs will be higher in the future. Some processing industry believed that the long-term solution was to take orders based on prices instead of pricing based on order quantity.
