Taiwan’s Feng Hsin raises rebar & scrap prices, keeps section steel prices flat this week- The 21st China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

Feng Hsin Steel Co., Ltd., one of the major electric furnace mills in Taiwan, announced to raise its rebar prices and scrap purchasing prices this week, by NT$200/ton respectively.
According to the price adjustment, the price of rebar was up to NT$15,700/ton, and the purchasing prices of scrap was raised to NT$7,900-8,500/ton. The price of section steel was unchanged at NT$19,100-19,400/ton.
It was understood that the international scrap price was in an upward trend, and the prices of Taiwanese rebar and billet will rise accordingly.
