Prices in the United States for domestically produced structural tubing have edged lower, with market participants indicating sufficient supply at the mill level and softening demand.
Fastmarkets AMM’s weekly assessment for US domestic A500 hollow structural sections (HSS) moved lower to $1,000-1,060 per ton fob mill on Thursday March 21 from $1,020-1,060 previously. “A lot of buyers are not buying tubes right now, so it’s a bit slow,” said an East Coast distributor
