India’s stainless steel output to reach 3.6 million tons in 2017-The 19th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

It was reported that India’s domestic stainless steel output will reach 3.6 million tons by end of 2017, according to Indian Stainless Steel Development Association (ISSDA).
India is the second-largest producer of stainless steel in 2016, rated after the first place, China.
India’s domestic steel demand has increased and will be keeping growing up as the main growing steel demand are from auto, roads and highways, housing project and construction.
Last year, the total stainless steel production totaled around 3.3 million tons. Next year, the total production is expected to reach around 4 million tons.
As a result, the total stainless steel production will be pushed up by more than 9% this year compared to last year. The growing rate is be expected to be around 8% to 9% yearly.
