Taiwan’s stainless hot-rolled steel imports up 30% for May-The 18th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to Taiwan Steel Association statistics showed that Taiwan’s special steel imports totaled 171,280 tons in May, which grew by 12% compared with previous month; the exports of special steel totaled 176,485 tons, increased by 20% compared with previous month.
Especially, stainless hot-rolled steel imports grew by 33% compared with previous month; the imports of stainless cold rolled steel remained flat compared with previous month.
In the meantime, Taiwan’s May special steel imports and exports of the performance was a quite different. However, most of the exports of stainless hot rolled steel grew sharply by 72% compared with previous month.
